Tracks are evidence-based treatment programs created by Open Mind Health to facilitate effective lasting solutions. They are built by a team of experienced providers with proven pathways to get to the "root cause" of each individual's issues and challenges.

What equipment will I need to work for OMH?
You will need a working computer, internet access and a camera.
Q.
Is there a training process for providers?
Yes. Each provider will be required to complete 2-3 hours of training on the OMH telehealth platform - Kareo - prior to their start date.
Q.
How is the scheduling and the billing handled?
Practice functionality including scheduling, billing, follow up documentation and prescriptions will be implemented on the Kareo platform.

If I am offered a position at OMH, how long before I can start?
Since OMH is primarily a private-payer practice, once the training and medical malpractice insurance for the provider is finalized the provider may begin seeing clients.

What is the length of time for sessions?
Depending on your position, the initial consultation are 40 or 60 minutes and follow-up visits are 20 or 60 minutes.

Can I set my own schedule with OMH?
Yes. OMH encourages all providers to work within a schedule that is most convenient for them.

What are the OMH hours of operation?
Hours of operation:
8 am - 8 pm (in your respective time zone)
Monday-Saturday

Can my schedule be flexible week to week?
OMH prefers a set schedule and 4-6 weeks notice for vacation or personal time off. However, OMH is open to discussing required flexibility at the beginning of the hiring period, or anytime thereafter with enough notice.

Will OMH cover my malpractice insurance?
Yes. OMH will cover each provider's malpractice insurance, but will require a set number of hours that equates to roughly 6 months of service with OMH, or if the provider leaves prior to meeting the number of hours the provider will be responsible to reimburse the group for the total cost.

What insurance is OMH currently accepting?
OMH is not currently taking insurance. OMH is in the process of credentialing with: Aetna, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Cigna, and United Healthcare/Optum.

Does the OMH team have group conferences?
Yes. The OMH team is supportive of a collaboration of care with all of its providers.
Q.
What is the compensation?
OMH will discuss the compensation for each potential provider and administrative hire during the interview stage.
Q.
How often will I be paid?
OMH pays each provider and administrative employee bi-weekly.
Q.
What types of clients will I be treating?
OMH offers a wide range of treatments and clients and providers will be matched based on the particular expertise of the provider and the individual needs of the client.
